The first NC-machining centre is used for production. The first loading systems for grinding machines.

1975

Because of strong expansion, specially export business, new buildings of production were erected. Now triple of production area was available.

1980

To optimise the production control, a modern computerised PPS-system was installed.

1982

The first micro-processor-controlled (PLC) grinding and glazing system for knives was developed.

1983

Foundation of American Siepmann Corporation in Rochester, NY., to realize an optimal service for the important US market.

1985

Introduction of the CAD-systems for machine design.

1987

Development of the world´s first computer numerically controlled (CNC)cutlery grinding machine.
